This is the living room....LOVE the hardwood floors and big window...it lets in a lot of light. The sheers were left by the previous homeowners. That's what they had on all the windows instead of blinds...we may have to do something about that.
This is the dining room. It is right off the living room.
Kitchen with original 1962 cabinets and countertops...yay!
Notice the LACK of a dishwasher...and the lack of room for a dishwasher...and the lack of cabinet space....Ben's honeydo list is getting longer by the minute. :P
This is the beautiful half wall with "jailbars" that was taking up half of our kitchen and was completely useless...it is gone now.

Beautiful blue bathroom...also original to the house.
One thing we did not notice until after moving in...there are no electrical outlets in the bathrooms! Awesome! Add it to the honeydo list....
Back patio...green carpet is gone now.
Daffodils in the front yard...previous owners also left the beautiful fake flowers...I left it there just for you, Stacia. :)

I love the tour of your house. I can't believe there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom! That's just crazy. I love the hardwood floors and the fireplace. Can't wait to see how you fix it up. I guess you and Ben will have a lot to occupy your time for a while. Miss you!
Okay...you can take the fake flower away now :P Love your hardwoods and I know you are going to make that place look like home once you get all moved in. I feel your pain with the blue bathroom! But seriously, no outlets!! How did they live? I can't wait to see how Handyman Ben conquers the kitchen. I know he'll do a great job just like he did in the bathroom at your GA house! The floors are beautiful and the living room is nice and bright. I don't know what you and Stacia are complaining about, I totally dig blue bathrooms.
Ben will definetly have to work his magic in that kitchen though....it's a beauty. But it's an antique so should you really change it?
Your house is like our house's really big older brother. Our house was built in 1963. When we moved in we had the same countertops, no dishwasher, and no outlets in the bathroom. We had those awesome ceiling fans too. Your floors do look really great. Thanks for letting us all see the new house. Can't wait to see it when your all settled.
