Baby Update #1

We had our first checkup and ultrasound today. We have a healthy little bean with a fluttering little heartbeat! We found out that our due date is October 25th, so we still have quite a ways to go! I was hoping that I would be a little further along than that, but that's okay, we are excited about having an October baby! That will make Isabelle almost 2 years and 3 months old when the baby is born, which I think is a pretty good age difference. I guess we'll find out for sure when the time comes! :) We don't know the sex yet, of course, but my guess this time is boy, because I'm feeling a lot sicker and tireder (if that's a word) than I remember being with Isabelle, and I seem to be gaining weight faster, but maybe those are just the joys of the second pregnancy. Maybe some of you more experienced mothers can tell me.

Oh yay!! I'm so happy little bean #2 is doing so well! I'm super excited for you and what a great due date!! (you know I love that time of year!) We are going to have to get on the ball about your baby shower!! Maybe we could all do Labor Day weekend again like we did for Amber's last year =)

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE GOING TO GET AN OCTOBER BABY!

There, I feel better. I was going to email you and ask you when your first dr's appt was.

I was a lot more tired with Noah (and then even more with 3), but I had lost weight in the 1st trimester, but my waist increased like CRAZY. But I felt my best during his.

I think a Labor Day shower sounds great.

Stinkin' October baby. I have a pumpkin hat and pumpkin bib with the tags still attached.

You are going to be so pregnant this summer, but atleast you won't be in the Georgia heat. I'm so happy your first appt went so well. Your babies are going to have the same age difference as mine, almost exactly. Isabelle will be a good little mommy's helper. Keep the updates coming. Can't wait for Labor Day weekend.
