We're Home!

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We have been traveling for two weeks and we are finally home! Just thought I would post a few pictures from our travels.....

Our first stop was Sumter, SC, where we were stationed before we came to GA. We stayed with our friends, the Robertsons, and they threw a "surprise" come and go shower for Isabelle. It was a lot of fun visiting with old friends....

This picture is of Isabelle laying on the quilt that Miss Veronica made for her!

Then, on our way to VA, we made a pitstop in Statesville, NC, just to get a break from driving for a few minutes. We did a little shopping at JR's outlet (you know the one that has billboards all the way up and down Interstate 77). We got some cute pictures there. Good thing we had the camera handy...... :)

This one is my favorite! My baby was almost the same size as the babydoll! So cute!

Well, I have a lot of unpacking to do, so I will post more later......

More Parade

Here are some more pictures from the parade last Saturday. These pictures came out a little better than the ones I took. Some people have fancier cameras than me. (Stacia) :)

Sausage on toast from Nu-Way....Yum Yum!
I thought this was a good picture of Isabelle on "Bubba"s shoulders.
Stacia had a little better angle than I did.
We got to see Jared, The Subway Guy!!!
I think this picture truly represents how Isabelle felt about her first parade. :P
And the grand finale was getting to see Santa!

Christmas Parade

The festivities have begun! It's officially December, and Christmas is just around the corner! (as most of you could probably guess, I haven't even started shopping yet.) :) Isabelle has already been to her first Christmas parade though, and sat on Santa's lap, twice!

Isabelle had a fun time sitting on Tyler's shoulders and watching the parade!
I thought this was a cute picture of Ralston with his "money".
He is one of Isabelle's friends from church.

Here comes Santa Clause.....

We had big day on Monday! We went to Sears and got family portraits done(I'll try to find a way to post some of those later) and then Isabelle went to get her picture taken with Santa! She did really great all day, no crying! Then we went to the Elberta Nursing Home Christmas party and Isabelle had a great time visiting with some of the residents there (she kinda looks like one of them.) and got to sit on Santa's lap again! Here are a few pics.....

Naked Time!

Okay, so I just HAD to post some oh-so-classic naked bathtime pictures.....

First Thanksgiving

This year was Isabelle's first Thanksgiving. We went to Mama Jan and Mr. Steve's house and had a wonderful time! I didn't get a lot of pictures, but here are a couple......

This is Isabelle's friend, Hailey.

Yum Yum!!

We did an experiment this morning and gave Isabelle some cereal on a spoon for the first time. She wasn't quite sure what to think, and most of it ended up on her bib. Here are a couple pictures......

Isabelle's Christmas Present

Isabelle got an excersaucer for her Christmas present this year (Santa came a little early), so I thought I would post a few pictures. She's still a little bit small for it, her feet don't touch the ground, and she can't reach the toys yet, but she enjoys sitting in it and staring at them anyway. :)

Counting My Blessings....

Since this is the time of year where we reflect on all that we are thankful for, I just wanted to let all of you know how thankful I am for you. If you are reading this, then you have been a blessing to our lives in some way, and we are very grateful to you for your love and friendship. I pray that you all have a Thanksgiving holiday that is filled with love and laughter, and that most of all, we remember how truly blessed we are and Who those blessings come from.

James 1:17- "Every good and every perfect gift is from above...."
