1962 was a great year...

So here are some pictures of the inside of the house. These were taken before we moved all of our furniture in. As I get a little more organized, I will take pictures with the furniture in it.

This is the living room....LOVE the hardwood floors and big window...it lets in a lot of light. The sheers were left by the previous homeowners. That's what they had on all the windows instead of blinds...we may have to do something about that.
This is the dining room. It is right off the living room.
Kitchen with original 1962 cabinets and countertops...yay!
Notice the LACK of a dishwasher...and the lack of room for a dishwasher...and the lack of cabinet space....Ben's honeydo list is getting longer by the minute. :P
This is the beautiful half wall with "jailbars" that was taking up half of our kitchen and was completely useless...it is gone now.
Fireplace downstairs in the family room.
Beautiful blue bathroom...also original to the house.
One thing we did not notice until after moving in...there are no electrical outlets in the bathrooms! Awesome! Add it to the honeydo list....
Back patio...green carpet is gone now.
Daffodils in the front yard...previous owners also left the beautiful fake flowers...I left it there just for you, Stacia. :)

Well I hope you have enjoyed this little tour of our home....more to come later!!

First Easter

Hope you all had a great Easter! Sorry I am so way behind on posting stuff. We still don't have our internet set up so I am just using whatever wireless access I can pick up through our window. :P

I just wanted to post a few pictures of Isabelle on her first Easter Sunday. These pictures were taken at Ben's mom's house. There was nothing in the eggs, but she had fun dumping them on the floor and trying to eat them anyway. She'll eat anything. :)

So our move went pretty well. No major casualties. We still have lots of boxes to unpack. (yuck!) Actually it's kind of like Christmas because you get to see all kinds of stuff that you forgot that you had! :) It's just a lot of work though. I'm not sure how long my internet access is going to last, but I'm going to try to post some pictures of the house in the next post.

Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you all!
Love,
Ben, Tabby, and Isabelle

Just wanted to let you all know that my niece is home now and feeling much better. They gave her some fluids through an IV, and she did have to spend the night in the hospital, but she is home now. Thanks for the prayers!

In other news, I'm not sure if I mentioned that Isabelle has 3 new teeth coming in on top....all at once....yay! So she is quite the "joy" right now. :P No, I'm just being sarcastic, she actually has been a lot of fun lately. She is really starting to develop her personality. She has not started crawling quite yet, but she is trying really hard to get it coordinated...it won't be long now.

Also we are closing on our new house this Thursday so we are very excited about that, and we will be very busy this weekend, so I may not post anything for a while.

Well I guess thats it for now...Hope you are all doing great! We miss you terribly!

Prayer Request

Just wanted to ask you all to say a prayer for my 4 year old niece, Sienna. She was admitted to the hospital tonight. She has been throwing up a lot the past couple of days and has gotten dehydrated. Also her blood sugar is very low so they are not sure what is going on. She woke up from her nap today very disoriented, so my sister called the doctor, and he told her to take her to the hospital. I will post more information as I get updates. Thank you. Hope you all are doing well.

Our House

Everyone keeps saying they want to see our new (well new to us, anyway) house. So here a couple pictures of the outside. I don't have any of the inside yet. I will have to post those after we move in.

Front of house....we hope to one day close the carport into a garage or possibly an addition.
Front of house also, just a different angle. Big picture window is living room, upstairs are bedrooms, downstairs is family room.
This is the view from our backyard (it's zoomed in so we are not quite that close).
I promise as soon as we move in I will take some pictures of the inside!

Girls Day Out

We had such a fun day today! We went to my mom's house to pick her up, then met my sister and nieces at the mall. We ate lunch in the food court, then did a little shopping.....
then we went to the kids area for some playtime!

Don't ask me how I got in that tunnel.....

As we were about to leave we saw the Easter Bunny walking through the mall! By this time, Isabelle was getting very tired, and didn't pay any attention to the easter bunny, but I took her picture with him anyway. Maybe one day next week we'll go get some real pictures done with him........

Then we met Daddy at Jersey Lily's for dinner, so we had a big day, but it was alot of fun!

These are just some other pictures I thought were cute and wanted to share...

I love how you can see her "teefers" so good in these...

She LOVES bathtime!
Anyway, not much else going on right now. We are all getting over colds, like everyone else in the world I think. We have the final walk-through on the house we are buying on Thursday, so hopefully that will go well. We don't forsee any problems. We are scheduled to close on the 20th now, and we are still set to close on our house in GA on the 31st.
Hope all is well with all of you!

New Pictures

Well, these were supposed to be Isabelle's 6 month old pictures, but she will be 7 months old tomorrow! So I guess they are 7 month old pictures! It took almost 3 hours all together, and she was such a trooper! She smiled, and smiled and smiled, but boy was it a challenge to get 3 children all to smile at the same time! But they all did great!

Isabelle and her cousins, Ainsley and Sienna.

In other news, the offer did come through on our house! We countered back and changed a couple of things, now we are just waiting for them to accept, but we are pretty confident that they will! As long as everything works out, we will close on March 31st, that's a whole month before our first payment will be due on our new house. Thank you God for answering prayers!
