...to Grandma's house we went! On Christmas Eve, we had Christmas with Ben's family at his grandparents house in Pulaski. We literally went over rivers and through woods to get there! (Luckily, all the roads were paved, and we weren't riding in a one-horse open sleigh.) We had a great time visiting with the whole family.
Here's a picture of Isabelle with Daddy...

And one with Mommy...

There was lots of good food. Isabelle especially loved Great Aunt Phyllis's home-made mac and cheese...Yum!

Then she wanted to check out what was on Grandma Morris's plate...

Isabelle was definitely our after-dinner entertainment. Here she is dancing with Grandma's cane. I hope this doesn't indicate any future career choices...

Here she is trying to "con" cousin Cortney into giving her a piece of candy.

Telling Jokes...

After all that eating and entertaining, I guess she was tired, because she crawled up in the chair to rest for a minute...

Then decided to lay down for a minute on the pillow grandma Morris had laid out for her...

After we rested for a little while, it was time to open presents.
Here she is "helping" Great Aunt Betty with her presents:
"Don't even think about snapping that picture, Mom."

Aunt Betty got her this penguin that is almost the same size as her. She loves it!

Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Duane got her this toy vacuum cleaner, which she also loves. It sings a little song about how much fun it is to clean the house. I hope that sticks. :)

Now time for some family photos:
Here's one with Gpa and Gma Morris:

And one with Mommy, Daddy, and MeMe.

After we were finished there, we went to the nursing home to visit Ben's other Grandmother:

That night we went to church with Ben's mom, then came home and got into our Christmas pajamas and waited for Santa to come! (Pictures of that in the next post.)
Here is a video of some of our entertainment, and another career possibility for Isabelle:

So sweet! I can tell you had a very magical Christmas. Next year will be even better! :) Isabelle will see how much her mommy loved her. She's in every picture in this post.
Happy New Year!
Wow, I didn't even realize she was in every single picture...I guess Christmas is all about her now! :)
