As you can see, Isabelle enjoyed helping me eat the leftover strawberries...
Here's Izzy and my Mom shortly after we got to her house.
Look at them teefers!
Aren't we all cute in our red, white, and blue?
Here's some with the cousins...
One of Izzy's many facial expressions...
My mom's next door neighbors have some "moo cows" so we went over to say hi.

Then last night, we had a pretty good view of some fireworks from our backyard, but I couldn't get any really good pictures of them. Hope you all had a fun-filled fourth as well!
Now, onto the garden update! We are finally getting some veggies! I am so proud of our little garden!
Green Maters!

Some crook-neck squash: I baked some of these for lunch today, and they were YUM-E!
Watermelon plant: this one is really starting to spread, but no fruit yet.
Corn
Also wanted to post a little evidence of my husband working in the garden: he's putting up a make-shift trellis for the cucumber plant. He's actually turned out to be quite the gardener...I think he even spends more time out there than I do!
"Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you." ~Psalm 128:1,2

Glad you had a great 4th! Isabelle love showing off those teefers!
We're thinking about doing the garden thing next year. You'll have to give us tips and pointers.
I am so impressed with you and your patriotic dessert. Looks like Isabelle had a great 1st Fourth of July.
Ralston is still talking about picking squash :-)
Love your star at the top of the page!
Your dessert looks so yummy! And your garden is impressive :-) Mr. Tom would be so proud of you! I love Izzy's little teeth and I see she had some lipgloss in that picture ;-] Too cute!
Look like you all had a great 4th of July! I love your garden. We have one but it's very small. You have quite the green thumb! Oh, and I love your new background too...very patriotic.
