Bathroom Before and After

Before I get to the bathroom pics, I just had to say: Spring has finally come to Virginia! Ben mowed our yard for the first time this season yesterday. So maybe it's still a little chilly outside, Ben is wearing his windbreaker while mowing, but it's still SPRING! Yay!

Izzy enjoyed sitting in the window and watching Daddy mow. I think this picture is really sweet:





So here are a few "before" pictures of the bathroom:

And here are the "after" pics: We painted the cabinet and replaced the coutertop and knobs, painted the walls, put down "peel and stick" tiles, replaced the toilet, and put a new layer of white grout on the wall tiles. You can't tell from this picture, but we also painted the trim around the window, took the blinds down, and put a privacy film on the window.

Close-up of the new countertop: Our cabinet was a weird size, so we had to custom order this, but it was still a lot cheaper than having to redo the entire bathroom!

We took down that old blue towel bar and put up this new one that we got at Wal-mart:

One bathroom down, one bathroom and one kitchen to go!
