Trying to "shut the door": I love her crossed eyes in this one.

Saturday, we had my mom's 60th birthday party!
We painted this flower pot and had all the kids put their handprints on it for her birthday:

She requested a bunny cake since her birthday was the day before Easter. A lady I go to church with made this:

We had a little egg hunt for the kids after the party. This was Isabelle's first egg hunt. It was a lot of fun. My 17 year old nephew even had some camouflage eggs with money inside that he got to find.

A "sisters" picture: Me, my younger sister Susy, older sister April, and stepsister Amanda. (Her baby is due in 8 weeks!)

Sunday we went to Blacksburg for church with my whole family. They had a little Easter egg hunt for the kids right after church. I didn't get any pictures of that, but my sister's mother-in-law did, and I hoping to get some pictures from her to post later.
Easter family shot:

Hope you all had a great weekend and got lots of goodies from the Easter Bunny!

That flowerpot with the handprints was such a good idea. I'm glad you and your family had such a fun weekend. Oh, Allyson won't touch broccoli, either. I wish she did like it. Mike and I love it. Oh, well!
Your Easter looked like a great weekend! My Memaw's birthday was the day after, we had a bunny cake too! I love the flower pot idea! Very cute and such a keepsake! Hope you saved a little room to add baby's =) You look wonderful and Izzy looked adorable in her Easter attire! P.S. I love the crosseyed picture too!!
There's lots of great stuff in this post, but I just can't get past Isabelle in that paper sack. That is the funniest/cutest thing I have ever seen.
I can't believe your mom is sixty. She looks awesome.
Sarah, my mom is going to really love you when i tell her you said that.
This is one of those posts that I just keep looking at b/c it makes me happy. I love the one of Isabelle in the bag and her Daddy kissing on her. So sweet!
I too was shocked that your mama is 60! But I forget that you have those older siblings.
