Aloha!

Saturday our Caring and Sharing group at church had a "Back 2 School" Luau. We had a lot of fun feasting, fellowshipping and playing a couple games with the kids. Everyone brought a "Hawaiian" themed dish. We had some really yummy stuff like skewers with grilled chicken and bell peppers, pineapple casserole, ham, coconut cake, and some really creative pig cookies that I wish I had gotten a picture of. After we ate, we did "pineapple bowling" where we set up the pineapples like bowling pins, and used a coconut as a bowling ball. The kids had a good time with that. Then we went outside for a water-balloon "toss", which turned out to be more like a water-balloon FIGHT. :) I was a bad blogger and really didn't take a lot of pictures of the food, games or decorations, but he are a few of the pictures I did take:

She looks like she's getting ready to do the hula in this one...
She's cute and she know it....
I just had to post this picture of Aaron in his Hawaiian shirt with his tongue sticking out.
He is one of Isabelle's friends. Isn't he cute?

A few people feasting on all the good food....

Sydney, Jennifer and Maureen doing the water-balloon toss.
We had a great time with everyone who came out for the Luau. Maybe we'll try to do it again next year!

You have got to frame that hula picture of Isabelle. It is perfect.
